Yes, there's the exhilaration and hope that an agent or editor might see your pitch—but at its core, it's about community and getting your work out there.The BookTok Pitch team comes from a background in creator marketing, and one of the biggest lessons is diversifying your audience across multiple platforms. Because, as we all know, platforms come and go.
Heck, TikTok was almost banned in the U.S. (It still could be.)But BookTok isn’t just TikTok. It’s a community. It’s all of us—writers and readers—who share a love for books and storytelling.TikTok’s unique algorithm gives you an unparalleled chance to grow your audience and find potential readers, no matter where you are in the process—whether you're drafting a WIP, querying, on submission, or already published.Somewhere out there, a reader is looking for your book.You just need to reach them.So while yes, we are a pitch event at heart, more than anything, we’re here to be your cheerleader and give you new avenues to reach new people.
